How to Refer a Person for Short-Term Residential Treatment:

  1. Call or ask to speak to our Intake Coordinator.
  2. We will complete an Intake screening over the phone or in person.
  3. All clients are required to submit a current drug and alcohol evaluation.
  4. The LADC or PLADC will review the intake screen and the evaluation to further determine if the potential client meets our admission criteria.
  5. The client will be placed on the wait list provided they meet admission criteria and have submitted all required documentation.

Referral Process

  1. Our referral form needs to be completed by a mental health or substance abuse counselor and submitted to SACS.
  2. You can send by mail or fax: 308-282-0277.
  3. Submit current (within the last 90 days) Substance Abuse Evaluation with a diagnosis of abuse or dependence.
  4. We will contact the client directly to set up an inital appointment at the office or other specified locations.

NEPSAC's priority list includes:

  1. Residents and non-resident Native American who are pregnant and/or IV drug users.
  2. Residents and non-resident Native Americans.
  3. Nebraska residents who are pregnant and/or IV drug users.
  4. Region I residents.
  5. Other Nebraska residents (Non-Native American).
